Female sexual Dysfunction was characterized by a constant or recurrent inability to get sexual arousal or to maintain arousal til the completion of asexual activity. Most of the women may experience problems with sexual activity at one point. Female sexual dysfunction may occur at any stage of life. It can be a lifelong or been acquired later in the life. It will occurs only in particular sexual situations or may be in all sexual situations.


Will depends on the type or types of female sexual dysfunction you are suffering with:

  • Low sexual desire. This most general of female sexual dysfunctions it may involves a lack of sexual interest and willingness to do sexual activity.

  • Sexual arousal disorder. Your wish for sex may be intact, but you have trouble with arousal or are not capable to become aroused or maintain arousal during sexual activity.

  • Orgasmic disorder. Have persistent or recurrent trouble to achieve the orgasm after enough sexual arousal and ongoing stimulation.

  • Sexual pain disorder. Suffering with pain and this pain is associated with sexual stimulation or vaginal contact.


Sexual problems usually develop when your hormones are in flux, like after having a baby or during menopause stage. Diabetes, Major illness, such as cancer or heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) disease, may also contribute to sexual dysfunction.

Physical – So many of medical conditions including like heart disease and bladder problems cancer, multiple sclerosis, kidney failure, may also leads to sexual dysfunction. Certain medications, including antihistamines and chemotherapy drugs, antidepressants, blood pressure medications may decrease your sexual desire.

Hormonal – Low amount of estrogen levels after menopause may also leads to changes in your sexual responsiveness and genital tissues.

Psychological and social – Untreated depression or anxiety may also cause or contribute to sexual dysfunction.
